The Cemetery is a featured walking tour on the
 Experience Covington Cultural Heritage Tour funded by a Preserve America grant. The audio tours are administered by Renaissance Covington. The tour provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the Cemetery as part of a larger, citywide, cultural heritage promotion.

The Westside neighborhood is undergoing dramatic and rapid change. Development of the new St. Elizabeth Medical Center campus combined with the pending expansion of West 12th Street, the closure of the Hellman Lumber business, the construction of James Simpson Way and the construction of the Duke Energy substation on West 13th Street have already significantly altered and will continue to alter the face and character of the neighborhood.

The new St. Elizabeth facility brings up to 450 employees into the neighborhood each day. The neighborhood is now a fundamentally different place than what it was less than 5 years ago.
