Linden Grove Cemetery has taken great strides in
providing a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere for the enjoyment of the
surrounding communities. That effort begins with maintaining and
supporting the natural growth in the area, particularly the tree health
and inventory.
Thanks to local funding, Linden Grove has been able to build the
positive awareness of the environmental and ecological benefit the
cemetery provides. For overall health of the Cemetery grounds, various trees have been removed and others planted across the Cemetery. Included here are photos tracking the latest progress. |
Due to efforts such as these, Linden Grove Cemetery was awarded
the 2011 Northern Kentucky Urban and Community Forestry Award
for Outstanding Community Forestry Project.
